A curious mind with a community heart

At just 13 years old, Riya Juttukonda has already learned that real achievement is not simply about what you know, but how you use your knowledge, talents, and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

She believes that learning matters most when it is used to solve real problems. Math and science are her favorite subjects, and she loves STEM projects both in and out of school — building working models like projectors, gyroscopes, and fidget spinners to see ideas come to life.

Beyond the classroom, she is a classical Bharatanatyam and contemporary dancer, an avid swimmer and tennis player, and a confident public speaker. What ties it all together is a steady commitment to service — showing up, again and again, for the people around her.

Quotes

“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.”
— Riya’s favorite quote
